ED arrests Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam in ₹35 crore cash recovery case
Salaar, the latest blockbuster starring Prabhas, showcased its dominance at the box office by surpassing the ₹300 crore mark globally on its third day. Despite experiencing a drop in collections, earning Rs 61 crore at the Indian box office on Sunday compared to its impressive opening of Rs 95 crore on December 22, the film has firmly established itself as the winner in the much-anticipated clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki.
The Salaar fever has spread beyond India, with packed theaters worldwide contributing to its remarkable success. Salaar's Sunday collections in India amounted to Rs 61 crore, a noticeable decline from its opening day, yet the film has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark within just three days, primarily driven by its popularity in the southern regions of the country.
On the global stage, Salaar has amassed nearly Rs 325 crore, showcasing its widespread popularity. The film's success is a significant milestone for Prabhas, who faced challenges with previous releases like Radhe Shyam and Adipurush.
Salaar marks Prabhas' return to the action genre, featuring unparalleled stunts and a gripping storyline. The movie, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and others in pivotal roles, contributing to its massive appeal.
